The mythical lost city of gold was a good name to celebrate Cadillac's golden anniversary in 1952. It went in to production the next year as a limited edition convertible as part of GM's triple crown along with the Buick Skylark and Oldsmobile Fiesta. The Eldorado was always one of the top line cars for Cadillac and came in Seville, Biarritz, and Brougham models. The Eldorado became its own model in 1967 as a sharp looking front wheel drive coupe. It remained that way all the way up until its final year in 2002. The Eldorado Bicentennial model was t be the last convertible made pending federal rollover requirements but the law never past and the Eldorado convertible briefly returned in 1984. Cadillac Eldorado parts are on our website and we try to keep a large selection in stock.
