The Chrysler Sebring launched as a coupe and convertible in the mid 1990s. Although they share the same name, the Chrysler Sebring parts were different between the coupe and convertible models. Check the Chrysler Sebring parts list carefully to make sure that you are buying for the right car and engine. Later a Sebring sedan was added as a replacement for the Cirrus nameplate. The Sebring gets its name from the 12 hour endurance race held in Florida. A Chrysler-powered Cunningham did win the race back in 1953. The Sebring name was also used on the Plymouth Satellite in the 1970s. The Sebring name was retired and replaced by the 200 name in 2011.
