The Ford Bronco is one of America's original SUVs. Ford Bronco parts have SUV written all over them. The original Bronco was built on a dedicated small truck platform designed to better compete with the Jeep CJ. In 1978, the original small body model was replaced by a much larger version to compete with the full-size Chevrolet Blazer. This version was built on an F-series platform and lasted until the 1996 model year. A beautifully re-imagined version of the original Bronco is currently produced by Icon in Los Angeles. The second generation Ford Bronco's place in history is assured thanks to the OJ Simpson police chase. The model was discontinued just a few years after the chase though concept vehicles have been shown since.
