Introduced in 1989, the Hyundai Sonata is an inexpensive but competitive offering in the mid-size sedan market. Hyundai wasn't known for quality or reliability in the 80's or 90's, but the most recent generations of their vehicles have provided buyers with a great driving experience with industry leading warranty coverage. In its own right, the Sonata is a great choice when compared to a similarly equipped but much more expensive Accord, or a smaller but virtually identically priced Jetta. Also, Hyundai Sonata parts are readily available in the aftermarket. So if and when your 10-year/100,000-mile warranty expires, you should have no problem replacing or repairing any part on your Hyundai.
