The Lincoln Marque

Lincoln LogoThe marque has long been a leading manufacturer of luxury vehicles in the United States. In 1917, Henry Leland, along with his son Wilfred, took his experience gained from working at Cadillac and began manufacturing Lincoln parts in order to create his own brand. Initially, Henry's company was contracted by the US military to build aircraft engines. Soon after WWI, the first of its automobiles came off the assembly line. This was not an easy transition, as the Lelands soon found out, and they were forced to sell the company. Ford Motor Company stepped in and began casting, forging, and machining Lincoln parts, which saved the struggling auto maker and elevated it to a success.

The legendary automaker has long been known for its unique and attractive styling, coupled with powerful engines. Several notable models include the Lincoln-Zephyr, Continental, Town Car, and Navigator, all of which contributed to the brand's success. Many models were used as official state vehicles for US Presidents, but most of their fleet business is through sales of limousines and other hired sedans. These vehicles tend to be driven hard, requiring frequent maintenance. When replacement Lincoln parts are needed, often times it is easy and inexpensive to buy them online.
