The B-series pickups from Mazda were US made by Ford in order to avoid the tariff on imported trucks. The Mazda B4000 parts included Ford's big 4.0 liter V6 engine. The B4000 makes for a reliable work and play truck. This model was available with different cab sizes and four wheel drive. When the Ranger was discontinued it took the B-Series with it and Mazda does not currently offer a pickup in the US. The Mazda B4000 continues reliable service all over the country thanks to its power, towing capacity, compact size and the affordability and ease of obtaining parts. Oddly, Mazda does not currently offer a pickup as replacement for the B-series here in the US market.
