The Mercedes-Benz 300D was a model used on many different vehicles over the 35 years it was produced. From 1958-62 it was the 189 chassis; a large limousine/parade car with a fuel injected engine and 4 doors. Later, the 115 took the model from 1975-76. In this iteration, it was an executive mid-size sedan with a 3.0L diesel engine. The most common and popular 300D models were 123 and 124 chassis built between 1977 and 1993. Either a sedan or wagon, this model was also built with a 3.0L diesel engine. Mercedes-Benz 300D parts are starting to become harder to find, since the latest model is just over 20 years old. If yours is in need of repair, don't delay.
