Nissan 200SX parts fit two separate models of cars. First there was a Datsun with rear wheel drive. The first series of these cars sold in the US really looked like a space ship from the back. The JDM vehicles were known as the Nissan Sylvia. The second series had a more conservative three box style, and the third series often called the S12 offered a hatchback bodystyle. These cars are popular in drifting especially in turbo or V6 form. The rear wheel drive 200SX was effectively replaced by the 240SX on the US market. In 1995, the 200SX was controversially brought back as a Sentra-based front wheel drive hatchback coupe. That meant no more drifting but it is a reliable, sporty compact car especially in SE-R trim.
