Performance. Styling. Affordability. The reintroduction of the Z car by Nissan in 2003 was heralded as one of the most welcome re-boots in automotive history. Not only did the car perform well on the street, but it was delivered at a price that most enthusiasts could afford. Early models were equipped with a 287hp V6, with later models receiving 300hp and the option for 306hp. Other trim levels included the option for big Brembo brakes, stiffer body construction and coil-over struts, and big lightweight wheels. The top of the line was the NISMO edition with included everything mentioned above plus performance exhaust system and a flashy body kit. Thanks to the reasonable price point achieved by this car, there was plenty of room for enthusiasts and tuners to buy and install performance Nissan 350Z parts to create a completely custom ride.
