The Nissan Sentra launched in 1982 and set the standard for front-wheel drive compact cars that went on the control a large part of the car market. The Nissan Sentra is currently on its seventh generation but even the third generation Sentra is still on sale in Mexico as the Nissan Tsuru. These cars are still popular as taxis in many parts of the world so you know that Nissan Sentra parts are tough. The hottest model is the SE-R which launched during the third generation with a 2.0 liter twin-cam four cylinder. Later versions of the SE-R used a big 2.5 liter four cylinder engine and a six speed manual transmission and Brembo brake options. The Sentra has always been a great economy car and each new generation further refines the theme.
