The name SAAB typically conjures images of an unusual and expensive foreign car that's hard to maintain. Truth be told, finding Saab 900 parts is easy these days with all the places you can shop online. However, finding an actual Saab 900 is going to be more challenging. Built between 1979 and 1998, this car was SAAB's entry-level compact offering. It was a nimble, light, and strangely-engineered (early models included an engine that delivered its power in the front and sent it to a transmission that was located underneath the engine... weird). All in all, the Saab 900 was a decent little performer. It definitely sold better in Europe than it did in North America, however it was a favorite for buyers who sought to distinguish themselves from the rest of the crowd.
