The Grand Vitara was a compact sport utility vehicle sold by Suzuki. Suzuki also built a similar vehicle sold as the Chevrolet/Geo Tracker. The Grand Vitara was a larger 4 door vehicle with an available V6 engine. The Grand Vitara continued on even after the Vitara and XL-7 were discontinued. By the end, there was heavy competition as virtually all automakers were producing compact sport utility vehicles and crossovers. They did have good off road capability and nice styling. The final models lost the General Motors V6 and were only available with Suzuki's four cylinder engine which hurt competitively. The Suzuki Grand Vitara parts were some of the last that Suzuki offered when they left the US market in 2012.
