The Swift was a compact hatchback sold by Suzuki. The three cylinder model was especially fuel efficient. It was also sold as the Chevrolet/Geo Metro. The most desirable is the Swift GT with its twin-cam sixteen valve four cylinder. The original Swift was also sold as a Chevrolet Sprint and was available with a turbocharged three cylinder engine. Although the Geo Metro was sold as convertible, the Suzuki Swift was not. The Suzuki brand is better known for motorcycles but has some of the best selling vehicles in Japan. Suzuki Swift parts are some of the best available for a small car. The Swift was discontinued from the US market but lives on in Japan and Europe where it is a successful compact car.
